The Non-Profit Cultural Organization Phaneromenis 70 is a centre of arts, dedicated to social research by recording and incorporating details of Cypriot art, urban landscape and local tradition. Main goals of the institution are the development of an anthropological core destined to observe, interact with, and showcase the details of the island that remain unnoticed by unaware eyes, as well as the production of a contemporary cultural opus in Cyprus with a horizontal mixture of arts and sociological studies in various and multiple ways of expression and research.

 

The philosophy of the Institution also includes alternative and contemporary projects which try to engage a broader audience and offer a new dimension in the cultural life of Nicosia.

Το Μη Κερδοσκοπικό Πολιτιστικό Ίδρυμα Φανερωμένης 70 είναι ένα κέντρο τεχνών, που αφιερώνεται στην κοινωνική έρευνα, μέσω της καταγραφής και της ενσωμάτωσης λεπτομερειών της Κυπριακής τέχνης, του αστικού τοπίου του νησιού, και της τοπικής παράδοσης. Κύριοι στόχοι του ιδρύματος είναι η ανάπτυξη ενός ανθρωπολογικού πυρήνα που προορίζεται στο να παρατηρεί, να διαδρά, και να αναδεικνύει τις λεπτομέρειες του νησιού που παραμένουν απαρατήρητες από το ανεκπαίδευτο μάτι, αλλά και η παραγωγή σύγχρονου πολιτιστικού υλικού στην Κύπρο, με την οριζόντια πρόσμιξη των τεχνών και των κοινωνιολογικών σπουδών με ποικίλους και πολυδιάστατους τρόπους έκφρασης και έρευνας.

Η φιλοσοφία του ιδρύματος επίσης περιλαμβάνει εναλλακτικά και σύγχρονα προγράμματα τα οποία προσπαθούν να εντάξουν το ευρύτερο κοινό και τα οποία προσφέρουν μία νέα διάσταση στην πολιτιστική ζωή της Λευκωσίας.

Phaneromenis 70 est un centre culturel à but non-lucratif, dédié à la recherche en enregistrant et en incorporant les détails de l’art chypriote, du paysage urbain et de la tradition locale. Les objectifs de l’institution est le développement d’un noyau anthropologique destiné d’observer, d’interagir avec, and de présenter les détails de l’île qui restent inaperçus aux yeux ignorants. De plus, l’oeuvre de l’institution est la production d’un opus culturel contemporain à Chypre avec un mélange horizontal des arts et des études sociologiques dans des modes d’expression et de recherche divers et multiples.

 

La philosophie de l’institution inclut des projets alternatives et contemporaines qui tentent d’engager une audience large et d’offrir une nouvelle dimension à la vie culturelle de Nicosie.
