REFELCT II
02.06.26
The final workshop, Reflect II, was facilitated by Nora Nadjarian and focused on experimental poetry and creative transformation. Participants were invited to approach writing as a process of discovery, allowing meaning to emerge gradually through observation, intuition, and experimentation.
The workshop began with a period of quiet observation. Sitting near windows and paying attention to their surroundings, participants focused on sounds, movements, details, and thoughts that naturally attracted their attention. These initial observations became the starting point for a first piece of spontaneous writing.
Once this initial text was created, participants were introduced to experimental literary techniques inspired by Dadaism and other avant-garde practices. Through cutting, rearranging, isolating, and recombining words and sentences, they transformed their original texts into new poetic forms. Each stage of the process moved further away from the original version while revealing unexpected connections and meanings.
The workshop encouraged participants to embrace uncertainty and view writing as an evolving process rather than a fixed outcome. By the end of the session, each participant had produced a unique poem shaped by both observation and transformation. The workshop concluded with a collective reading and discussion, creating a space for reflection on creativity, language, and personal expression.
